First aid, road burn, burn, gauze Please help?

Im looking for a web like thing (looks almost like a fishnet stocking texture) I got a road burn on my sholder so wrap wont stay on. At first aid th medic put on a sterile pad and but my arm through a web like thike and put it over the gauze pad to hold it in place What is this I cant find it anywhere

Any CLEAN gauze and tape will do. Change daily. If it is draining _4 times a day.

You may have to go to phone book and look under medical supply stores. Walgreen's and walmart usually don't carry specialty items like that. You could also try having someone help you to lightly wrap your shoulder with an ace bandage over the top of a sterile dressing.
Don't forget to clean it out daily and apply anti biotic ointment of some type.

this is called a tube gauze. if it is clean it can be reused.

i know what you mean - i have used the same product to secure dressings. i have totally forgotten what it is called - if i remember i will send you an email.

you could use cling wrap as a temporary solution to secure the dressing.
