First aid for hot oil spill on hands?

What's the recommended first aid for hot oil spilling on hands while frying snacks.

"Whenever hot oil splutters on the skin, immediately put the affected area under a running tap. The idea is to cool off the skin as heat tends to damage skin tissue. Then give a cold compress and apply an antiseptic cream to soothe the pain."

Cold water, NOOO oily things like butter or anything. Ice would help too.

pour cold water immediately and then apply cold cream/ointment

The first thing you want to do is to wash off the oil with soap, I always use dish soap as it cuts the grease and then just get a bowl of cold water and a couple of ice cubes and soak affected area in it changing the water as necessary to keep comfortable. If it's a child, you need to take them to the dr. If there is swelling that restricts movement--see dr. Burning the hands and fingers hurts because of all the nerve endings there. I had my dr Rx me a prescription for silver sulfa burn cream to keep at home for burns. It's soothing and speeds up the healing process. Dont pop any blisters. Aloe vera helps if burn isn't too serious. If pain cant be relieved, see the dr.

immediately put the affected area under a running tap. apply an antiseptic cream to soothe the pain.

Depending on how bad this is you should keep the affected area under a cold running tap or a bowl of cold water with ice cubes in. The longer you immerse the area in water the better it is. Visit your local pharmacy as they will sell the correct burn dressings, also advise if a visit to the doc is needed.
Do not burst blisters. Do not cover with a dry dressing as this could take the blister surface away when removed, this is why I highly recommend the pharmacy.
Hope its okay.

try a camlin ink (blue one)

cold water only.

NO CREAMS. this does not help the burns. although can maybe be used after a day or so.

so, cold water for min 15 mins and cover with a non adherant bandage

My wife just burnt her entire left hand with hot oil about a day and a half a go. The best treatment is to leave your hand in cold water for quite some time and see if you can get some silver sulfa cream from your doctor. The cream helps the burn to heal faster with minimal scaring.

run under cold water and use aloe vera afterwards.

this is serious and to regain use of hands i recommend first take away hot oil, do not apply ice (never apply ice directly to any living organ.. it can kill the organs cells), moist gauze (a slight saline solution can be used) and seek medical attention as soon as possible... it is important to use moist/wet gauze
