Info on sanoid first aid box?

a 'sanoid' first aid case made in 1931 may 16th by cuxson,gerrard &co ltd ,oldbury nr birmingham.
its a wooden box with sanoid first aid on front and in a small box it has A150 think this may be a ref no for buying product for the box can only find the company now but no details on this item

Sorry but I doubt anyone will knoe here.

If you're looking for supplies from the 1930's time period to fill that box, I'm afraid it's a little beyond our help.

However, if you're looking to fill the vintage box with current-day medical supplies, then I think I can help. There are many places you can go to buy the bandages and such to fill a first aid kit. Personally, I find that www.savelives.com is the best site to obtain supplies from if you don't want to buy in bulk.

While first aid training is a definate plus, here's some basic information from the US Government as to what's recommended in a first aid kit:

Things you should have:

* Two pairs of Latex, or other sterile gloves (if you are allergic to Latex).
* Sterile dressings to stop bleeding.
* Cleansing agent/soap and antibiotic towelettes to disinfect.
* Antibiotic ointment to prevent infection.
* Burn ointment to prevent infection.
* Adhesive bandages in a variety of sizes.
* Eye wash solution to flush the eyes or as general decontaminant.
* Thermometer (Read more: Biological Threat)
* Prescription medications you take every day such as insulin, heart medicine and asthma inhalers. You should periodically rotate medicines to account for expiration dates.
* Prescribed medical supplies such as glucose and blood pressure monitoring equipment and supplies.

Things it may be good to have:

* Cell Phone
* Scissors
* Tweezers
* Tube of petroleum jelly or other lubricant

Non-prescription drugs:

* Aspirin or nonaspirin pain reliever
* Anti-diarrhea medication
* Antacid (for upset stomach)
* Laxative

no i don't know sorry
