What is First Aid?

In case of an accident would you know what to do?

97% of people worldwide DON`T !!

For those of you who answer NO would you like to know how this statistic can be changed and give you First Aid at your Fingertips at all times?

Help yourself and others NOW

first aid is assisting someone who has sustained some type of injury. the red cross and some local churches offer first aid/cpr courses. you can also check with your local fire department. there may be a nominal fee to cover books, etc. i agree, it is something everyone should know or have some idea of what to do in the event of an emergency. i realize some people are apprehensive about helping others because of blood, possible infectious diseases and even injury to themselves. but with this knowledge and/or skills you can help yourself and family as well.

Hand the person in pain, a beer

If I see someone hurt, I just kick them in the head a couple times and they'll snap out of it.

its emergency treatment given to a injured or sick person.

Example: Someon is carrying a knife, they fall and stab themself in the side. You call the paramedics, but it takes about 15 minutes to get to where you are. In the meanwhile, using first aid kit, or something near you, you attempt to cover the wound or put pressure on it to stop the bleeding or slow it until the medics arrive.

Im only 12 and only 3% of people know that? thats sad, I know that by heart too, I feel ashamed. ^_^

I hope that was a good enough explanation.

first aid is call ambulance or police or shout for help or cry or gain attentions to canvass for help , you can also pray hard ....

HI, Yes, I took first Aid in twelfth grade. First Aid- immediate temporary help given to a victim until professionals come.

Have been a witness to two accidents and I know what to do. Doing CPR on a real life person is completely different from doing it on a practice dummy. So keep up to date on CPR and the Heimlich maneuver

go to yahoo answer ask what to do
or give them some beer for the pain

yes-I have it in my school(we must know)
