Is there someone on every airline flight who knows first aid? |
when i say "first aid" i don't mean putting on a band aid. I mean if a passenger collapses, is there someone who knows what to do with the time it takes to land the plane and get said person to the hospital? Yes we are trained in first aid, CPR and trained to use an automated heart defribrillator (which almost every airline carries). Flight attendants have first aid training. The airlines people know that there arises medical emergencies and I suspect that not only do EVERY attendant know First Aid and CPR they also know what to do when a woman goes into labor. Yes, flight attendants are trained in CPR and basic first aid. I believe it is a requirement. |
