Finger tip injury?

It has been about 2 months since my finger got caught in a buddy's shirt while playing flag football. It's my ring finger on my right hand and there is pain and a little swelling in the last knuckle. It is also swolen and sore on the skin right next to the finger nail. It has been about the same for 8 weeks or more now. Should I see my doctor?

your finger may be dislocated or have a small fracture. tape it to the one next to it. visit an urgent care for an xray and possible orthopedist referral.

i would go to the doc. sounds like you pulled a ligament
