Carpal tunnel syndrome is really common. I get all tight in my shoulders/neck area, too. Yoga helps. Not hitting the keys so hard helps. Make sure your workstation is set up so that your forearms are parallel to the floor and your wrists are straight. The condition usually shows up in the wrist as carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). It can affect the entire hand, even the arms and elbow joint. Pain & stiffness or numbness in the fingers is a first stage symptom. |
