First and second finger on left hand has like a hump on side is it disformed or something?

Hi,
For a while now I have noticed that I have like lumps on some of the fingers on my hands, now they are not painful but it does get annoying at first I thought it was just hard skin but no when i touh the sides I can feel the bone. You can see it and when you run another finger up it its like a "speed bump"
So what does this mean? The finger is deformed or something like that?
I have also noticed that the tip of the fingers sort of curl upwards not easy to see but when you look specificaly it is obvious.
Now I have had this for ages but it is only now that it has started to become annoying.

Now what I have decided is to go to the doctors, but before I do does anyone know what it might be and what I can do

Just another note I have had no injuries or damaged any fingers

could probably be as simple as calcium deposits

My first thought would be warts but if it feels like bone inside it could be bone spurs but I have never heard of them on the fingers and they are usually only caused by some other problem such as bones in a joint rubbing together or pulled ligaments pulling away from the bone.
