Help! A raccoon chewed my finger off!?

Please help. This raccoon with foam coming from its mouth attacked me. It chewed my finger off. I put the finger in the fridge. Should I go to the doctor now, or wait till I have some free time on Wednesday to get it checked out?

Okay, so I really didn't get my finger chewed off. What I am worried about are all the people with bad injuries who want to know if they should go to the doctor. You shot your foot and it's bleeding profusely? A dog bit you and it's weeping green pus? Someone shot an arrow into your hand? Gee, I don't know if you should go to the doctor, better wait and see...

Okay, so I exaggerate a little. But if you look at some of these questions (and answers too), it's pretty obvious that some people on here are a bit cranially challenged. I guess my question is this: Does it frighten anybody else that people that so clearly don't have common sense could be answering my own questions?

I probably miscaterogorized this question putting it in first aid...it really fits for every single category if you think about it

Yes, it frightens me, but not so much about the injuries. They are working hard to prove Darwin right. The ones that REALLY worry me are in the category of "Pregnancy". These idiots are REPRODUCING!

Yes, it's terrifying, isn't it? :D Report It

well i do know why people post medical questions on here.
cause 911 is always busy for 15 minutes. Why not kill the time while you are on hold !

I chewed my own finger off, raccoon be damned. I'm just hardcore like that, though.

Some people are just goofing off is all and its pretty easy to figure it out.

The only thing I would argue with you on is them only being a "bit Cranial Challenged" I would say alot but that's just me. Oh an I work at a 911 center the reason we are busy and have people on hold for 15 minutes is people calling 911 because they have a headache or a toothache, or what are the roads like.

Where I live they have a class for kids with "No Common Sense".

The higher the education combine with no common sense is a hysterical combination. I will also state....I am a bit warped.

i agree with just me up there he is oh sooooooooooooo right

survival of the fittest

The stupid ones will die out. Sounds mean but it is true. If you get shot and you ask what to do on here, you won't have time to save yourself or call an ambulance.
