Artiritus in only one finger?

My index finger is the problem. The knuckle where the finger meets the hand is always sore. The middle knuckle on the finger is stiff a lot and I have to crack it a lot each day. If I don't crack it, it becomes painful. I have not had any injuries and don't do anything with this finger more that my others. Any ideas?

Yes, arthritis can start in one finger. As for the cracking the finger that's because of little air bubbles in the area. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
