On & off extreme pain in right index finger. Unable to move. no injury received.? i had that in my ankle and it turned out to be an overworked tendan. But just because you didn't injure your finger doesn't mean that it's not a result of another injury on your hand or arm. Especially if it were a deep cut or something. You should go to your dr, or to hospital. |

More than likely, it is sprained. Especially if it is blue in color. If it were broken, you wouldn't be able to move it at all. I suggest you get to a doctor or an emergency clinic to have ... You should have an x-ray done on your finger. I don't know who put the splint on it for you, but if you have a fracture or hairline fracture, it could be causing the problem and need to be set... If you have nerve damage it will take a long time to heal, like 6 months to a year or more. The nerve will heal itself, but it takes forever. If you didn't see a Dr., maybe you should? ... |
