I have swelling on little finger of my left hand and no injury happened. it seems to be getting worse?

it is very painful and i cannot move it about. the infected area of my palm is red and it feels hot. the finger is also sweating. been to doctors and all i got was painkillers and ibruprofen. i have used balms etc but nothing is working

i think i am coming down with a fever too

You need a better doctor. You have an actual infection and need antibiotics. Look up a real doctor in the yellow pages, and ignore the quack you have been going to.

hmm hun is it itchy/sore? you could probably have an infection get a second opinion for sure. glass?

This actually just happened to a gal I know and it was an infection and they had to go in and remove her fingernail! Get in NOW before it gets worse!!! You don't want to end up losing your finger nail or worse your finger!

ok lets start...first of all make sure that when you go to bed you have put some kind of protecting on your face you know like dogs not to bite
secondly i know it's not funny
thirdly wrap your poor little finger right up and make sure whatever blood greedy beast you become at night you won't get to ya little finger

You need to try a different doctor. You could try A & E if you think you have need. I think though that NHS direct would be a good place to try. 0845 4647.

My mum had, what sounds the same as you. She was diagnosed with Gout. But this is only a suggestion. Obviously a second opion is needed by a GP. Good luck.
