My right index finger is crooked because of an old injury, should i be depressed?

I know my finger will be crooked for the rest of my life and i feel kind of depressed knowing its gono stay that way, the good thing is only the tip kinda droops down, so should i be depressed?

Due to the adaption level phenomenon, you should be a little bit sadder than you were before, but you won't be REALLY sad. Theres only a certain range of happiness you can go through, big events can't even change that

EDIT:

I'd just like to say that the response "don't worry about it" isn't a good response. This is synonymous with "oh hey, you're worrying about something, but in my mind it's a joke, and not worth worrying about" which basically leads to meaning that you worrying about this situation is considered weird, abstract, and pointless. It demerits the whole, you came for help, and I'm giving you advice that really says "I don't care, you should be able to deal with this with no problem (which you obviously aren't since you asked). "

So i'd say, tough it the best way you can, confront it, and when you're ready to leave it, then drop it.

NO! Perhaps, in a very real sense, you should just "Give" yourself that finger.

no way . if it were your crown jewels then thered be a reason to be depressed . lol

Do not be so depressed about that, its nothing to be depressed about. It is not worth the time to do so, you have better things to worry about than that.

no! don't be depress you still have your finger and that's ok
I have a crooked pinkle and will always be that way I had a brain operation and it left me with crooked pinkle and lack of feeling in my left hand so you stop feeling bad for your self,it could be a lot worst, thank God.........

My wedding ring finger is crooked and has been since i was in 1st grade... was I supposed to be depressed all these years...........? Duh get over it

No you shouldn't be depressed. Instead you should embrace it. I have two crooked pinky fingers because I broke them, and I used to hate it. But now I love them because it's what I recieved as an athlete. Sort of like my battle wounds.
