I Really Need Help!!!?

look, 5 months ago i had a finger injury, i injured my finger and now it is crooked, and i guess it will always be that way, i have been depressed for 5 months! i just cant get over the fact that my finger will always be like that now i dont wana do things that i used to do such as card magic just cuz of my crooked finger, i dont wana play the guitar, or anything that uses that finger because i think i cant anymore someone please help me!! how do i get this depression off!?

Well we all have things about us that we don't like some more than the rest of us, I know how you feel. I had a back injury 8 years ago and since can't do a lot of things people my age can do, like go dancing, or even work! The depression you have is a normal response to something like that and I have experienced it too. The only thing I can tell you that has helped me is seeing a therapist. It doesn't mean you are psycho or anything it just means you need someone to talk to. And I know that each time you pick up that guitar or think about doing card tricks you are stopped becasue of your finger, but just think that there are people out there a lot worse off and can't even do those simple things. Heck, playing the guitar is an art and if you can do it, do it for someone who could be listening, you never know who will hear you, you might end up brightening up someone else's day!

actually now that i look at it, i dont think its that crooked its just kinda weak n when i went to the doc he said it just needed rehabilitation, so he said exercise it 15 mins a day, i did that n its been bout 1 month n i dont think its as crooked as before Report It

sure no prob its the same as my name...megabytes12345 I'm on yahoo messenger Report It

See a psychologist and also check into reconstructive surgery if it bothers u that bad.

A surgeon can fix it. It will be just like before.
I had polio when I was a little girl, My foot was so crooked that I tried to hide it from everyone, I was ashamed.
In 1990 I started having trouble even walking, I had my foot reconstructed and now you can't tell anything is wrong with it.
Talk to a doctor about it. You'll be glad you did.
