Fifths Disease. Why did she cough up blood? |
My 10 month old daughter contracted Fifths Disease from her cousins last week. Her pinks cheeks and fever appeared in the middle of the night. After i gave her some tylenol, i noticed on the bed and on my t-shirt that there was blood. Is this normal? It hasn't happened since, but she's been feverish, hot to the touch, and emotional all day. Should i call the doctor about this? Are you sure it is not rubella?See a Doctor about the bleeding which is never normal in any situation. Yeah...blood in unnormal place is a good indication to call the doctor. Yes, call the doctor! No bleeding is normal, and a high fever is usually an indication of an infection. |
