Swelling with Fifth's disease? |
My 3 yr old daughter just got back from the drs office, because she has this widespread rash. The dr. said it looked like fifth's, but my daughter hasn't been ill or had any fever and she's never looked like she had slapped cheeks, just blotchy. Plus benadryl seems to make the rash disappear and then its at its worst first thing in the morning. And, this morning she woke up with swollen feet and hands. Does this sound like fifth's? Ok, I just got back from the urgent care, her lips swelled up real fast, they said she has strep throat and hives. .I think I would take her and get a second opinion. I have seen the fifth disease, but don't remember swollen hands and feet.It may be better to be safe , plus she must be uncomfortable |
