If you've had Fifths Disease once, can you have it again? No...because you will develop sufficient antibodies. No. But the lacy red rash that occurs with Fifths disease can reoccur for a while after the child has recovered - especially if the child gets overly warm (like after exertion, taking a warm bath, etc.) |
