Can Meningitis be caused by Fifths Disease?

My little brother and mom recently had fifths disease and about a week later I was sick but with different symptoms..they seem like clear symptoms of meningitis...but i thought i was vaccinated for meningitis so if i did get vaccinated then i wouldnt get it right?

Fifths desease is caused by a virus, parvovirus B19. Meningitis can be caused by viruses, but I am not sure if B19 has ever been linked to meningitis. The vaccine that you recieved for "meningitis" would have only been for some forms of bacterial meningitis. Vaccines are available for S. pneumoniae, N. meningitidis, and H. influenzae.

So if you think you have meningitis, see a doctor. It may not be from parvovirus B19, but you could have any number of other types of meningits.
