I'm a 16 year old female and i found out i have fifths disease...how long will this last? |
I have a small rash on my neck and cheek. My glands in my head and especially behind my ear are swollen. Both the rash and my glands are itchy. How long will it take for the rash to go away and am I still contagious? I've only had if for a few days. Google it, it is not really a big deal, (thats not to say your not feeling pretty awful) although much more common in younger kids. They say it takes 1-3 weeks for the rash to completely clear up, but it went away within a week for my kids. By the time the rash is there you have already had the virus for approx. 3 days so you should not be contagious anymore. Get well! |
