Fibroids.......HELP???

How exactly do fibroids affect women? Could someone die because of fibroids? Should I get mines removed?? Will I still have babies in the future?

I have one big fibroid on the right side my tummy. I have pains there often but not everyday. The pains range from (at times) severe to mild. I haven鈥檛 been back to the Doctor. What should I do?

My friend and I were recently told the same thing. It depends on where they are. If they are inside the uterus it can be difficult to remove them as any surgery done inside your uterus runs the risk of making you unable to bear a child. My aunt had fibroids inside her uterus but was able to concieve when she had my cousin they just removed them during the c-section. You acn have a trans-vaginal ultra sound to better determine as well as a hysterosaloingogram which is a test where they inject a dye threw a cathader inside of you to see what the blockage is.Dont get discourage I belive there is a light at the end of every tunnel including this one!

Good luck.

Go back to the doctor. There is no reason why you should be in pain at any time. Correct surgery will not prevent you from becoming pregnant.

It's highly unlikely that a woman can die from fibroids, but they can cause pain and complications.

There's a safe effective surgery that can remove them in younger women but typically they will come back. Hormonal changes can make them larger but they do grow slowly over time. You didn't give your age or the size of the fibroid...to give you a definitive answer I would have to know that. Birth control pills can have an impact on them but every woman reacts differently. Some women have them shrink and others have to stop taking pills because they cause more issues.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had three fibroids (that I didn't even know about) and eventually had to have a partial hysterectomy because they started to be quite painful. Even at the time though, it was more of an elective option and I probably could have had more children.

You should definitely go back to the doctor and address this if you're concerned about your future fertility.

U should go to the doc again cause even though they dont hurt that much problems can later occur from them..my mom had fibroids before and they caused her some pain it wasn't serious it caused her stomach to swell she got them (5) removed and she recovered quickly. as far as having babies you will be able to my aunt had them as well and she gave birth to a healthy baby girl... good luck

fibroids will eat ur insides u betta get rid of them
