Fibroids with no insurance :(?

Does anyone know if I can go to the emergency room without insurance and get an ultrasound??? I'm having SEVERE pain on my left side and have been diagnosed in the past with fibroids but no longer have insurance to see whats going on...Please Help!

I tried a clinic but they told me i need to get a ultrasound and they could not do one..So i guess i'm left with the emergency room... :(

I suppose it would depend on the hospital policy. You may need to, in any case, go on to the ER and worry about the cost later. The pain you are experiencing could be due to a kidney stone or a bladder stone, but you can only get a doctor's determination of this.

You can go to the emergency room at the hospital becausee they're not supposed to refuse treatment. But, you'll still be billed a huge amount if you go to the emergency room. Try Planned Parenthood or another free or low price clinic.
