Fiber in food?

how does it work for your diet? does it have calories? if yes how many calories for 1 grame of fiber?

should i eat high calories food with high fiber or low calories food with low fiber?

please help me i am really confused what would be more helpful for diet, calories or fiber.?

You want high fiber in low calorie foods. I had a hard time incorporating fiber into my diet so I take a teaspoon of Metamucil in cold water 15 minutes before every meal. It helps to fill you up so you don't eat as much and the fiber helps to digest your food so that its not just sitting around in your gut. They also make fiber products that you can sprinkle on any of your food or add into your drinks.

eat lk bran flakes its a cereal its low in calories and high in fiber

Calorie rich food for energy needs.
Fibre for your bowel.
It helps to prevent constipation.

To lose weight you definitely need to cut down on high calorie food. I tried a 6 month diet wherein i took carbos only during breakfast. For lunch and dinner, i took meals high in protein and fibre. A natural health supplement such as Trimcap can help. Lost 12 kgs. See www.sindor.com. Good luck.

why not add the fiber powder to low calorie foods. Low calorie is best unless you are very underweight. The fiber capsules might be a better option for you also. Raisin Bran cereal is high in fiber also. Hope i have helped you some.

eat an all ice cream diet for 3 week work great.

I am on the weight watchers plan and fiber is an important part. Foods have point values and fiber plays a part of that, along with the calorie and fat count. The more fiber, the lower the point count. And that's a good thing! I have lost 45 lb in 6 months on it. Nice and slow, which is a good thing. I have 90 more lb to go and am doing something that I can live with. Check out my website that has tracked my weight loss.

Hight fiber makes you poop, which is good because it cleans out your system and you lose weight at the same time. Fiber is good for you and works in the same way as a laxitive.

You need to eat high fiber foods. It aids in digestion as well as keeps you feeling fuller longer. Be careful when you first start out eating lots of fiber, to much can give you diarrhea
