Is Fiber One cereal a good source of fiber? |
It says Fiber One, cereal, box, "57% more fiber than other cereals." It does have a lot of fiber, but has other junk in it, too. What bothers me are the corn starch, corn oil as well as the preservatives and additives. Nearly all dry cereals are highly processed and not the healthiest for you, in spite of what the manufacturer claims. You could certainly do worse as far as dry cereals go, but I suggest a plain bowl of whole oats, very healthy, nothing added and chock full of fiber and many other natural nutrients. i have never heard or that cereal but if the word fiber is in the title i bet there is a high source of fiber Its very high in Fiber, which most people do not get enough of on a daily basis. I didn't like the taste or texture of Fiber One and it has sugar in it, I suggest All Bran cereal if your looking for fiber, there are several varieties of All Bran, although I like the original which I mix with yogurt and fresh fruit. Its actually really good that way! |
