Does fiber block the absorption of nutrients?

I probably get about 300 grams of carbs per day and I never eat refined grains. I also eat tons of vegetables and a small amount of fruit. My fiber intake from grains alone could be between 50-60 grams. I am wondering that if with all the fiber I am consuming if I am blocking the absorption of important nutrients and minerals. If I am getting the nutrients from my vegetables, am I still at least getting the antioxidants? How is one supposed to get nutrients if he/she eats only whole grains? Is it actually better to eat white and refined grains?

Here's what I might usually eat in a day as far as my fiber intake goes. 1/2 C oat bran, two servings of brown rice or two servings of whole wheat pasta, maybe another 1/2 C of oat meal, 4 slices of sprouted grain bread, raw carrot, raw celery, raw broccoli, some green onion, some cauliflower, a banana, and an apple. I usually also have a multivitamin with breakfast.

Fiber doesn't form a barrier in the GI tract between food and stomach/intestinal walls. You're still getting the nutritional benefits.
