Should i take these fiber tablets? i am not 18? |
i am trying to lose weight by portioning my meals and eating the right things, but i am always hungry so i wanted to add some extra fiber to my diet. i bought these chewable fiber tablets and theyre pretty big but on the back it says "not intended for anyone under 18" do you think its going to be okay to have 1 a day? im 14 almost 15? why not just eat a little more? try snacking on carrots or celery sticks or even almonds to increase the amount of fiber in your diet. i would say yes because fiber is not poinsonous...but no because it's not wise to do that. Like most people above me may say...chew on a brocoli, carrot, prunes, oatmeal, etc. It helps your digestive sytem and other things for your bodily needs. No , do not take them or any over the counter vitamins or medication without first talking to a Dr. The warning label is there for a reason, to warn people of adverse reactions.Sometimes fatal. In order to loss weight you can eat whatever you want just in smaller portions.Drink lots of water & excerise. Remember you are a teenager and your body requires alot of food because you are burning a lot of calories with all the activities you do.When you are done eating just eat an orange or grapefruit for desert or snack because the citric acid burns calories & it has vitamins. Good healthy diet snack along with walking & you will loose weight. |
