What Has High Fiber?!? |
I just got the word from my doctor my cholestral *sp* is out the roof! He told me to crack down and eat more fiber and take some fiber mixture or pills. Also said to Exercise more!! I just am wondering what is best to eat with tons of Fiber and what will keep it easy to maintain and get a healthy weight and body. I know alot of veggies. but what else if you have a website I will love it and also any info. thanks so much!! should I eat small meals all day or make enough for 3 meals to cover me for the day? Eat all multi grain breads, rice, pastas etc.....no more white flour. Oat Bran muffins. apples have a lot of fiber pasta prunes, dates, nuts, spinach are great sources of fiber, so are those wassa crackers that taste like cardboard. I sooner eat the cardboard. Fiber One Granola Bars. They are yummy and come in two flavors. But beware, to much fiber can give you gas and give you the runs.. * Beans Don't go to simple carbs like processed anything...bread, baked stuff, crackers, cookies, etc, cuz those will put the pounds on.
