Help with fetal alcohol syndrome?

The guy who lives in the apt. next to me has fetal alcohol syndrome. If i so much as aeven talk on the phone in my bedroom, he will pound on the wall. One night I was reading my daughter a story & he was screaming & he pounded so hard on the wall it knocked a picture down.....what can I do to get this wacko to knock it off. the managers & his mom & the police have talked to him but nothing works.

Give the management an ultimatem - either they kick him out or stop him from what he's doing, or you move. If your landlords are halfway intelligent, they will see that they are going to have a problem in the future with the guy when it comes to the next person living in your room, and will kick him out instead of letting you move.

Thank you. Report It

I hate to tell you this sweetie, but move. Obviously there's something VERY wrong with your neighbor. If the police can't do anything about it, you can. MOVE. It will be safer for you and your child. Take care.

there is nothing for you to do exceept file a formal comp[laint with the management

start pressing charges

You need to move.

1-Declare your complaints to him, his family or whatever.
2-If nothing happens and if he pounds you walls again call police.
3-If this doesn't work either call you lawyer.

I agree with the others. There's nothing you can do but move. If the landlord won't evict him (and it certainly sounds like he has good cause) you have few other options.

Good Luck! That has to be very scary for your and your daughter.

Come on. This guy is an angry ******. Maybe consider moving. If that is not fesible consider contacting a lawyer to find out your options. It should have been handled by the manager of your complex. Tell the manager you fear for your safety and that of your child and that you have contacted authorities, and do so again tell them the same as the mgr. Get someone to listen. This is harrassment and is not something you should be forced to tolerate it.

if the manager or police won't do anything, you better get out before he does something harmful to any of you. I wouldn't trust him and its obvious he should be in some kind of a home.
