What is the best treatment for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome?

Our son was adopted when he was 2 1/2 years old from Kazakhstan.

From the CDC:

http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/fas/

Councelling for the families, cognitive therapy for the little one affected & constant care. maybe even a special scholastic program if needed.

there is no treatment. it is what it is. it can't be cured. each child is different and the syndrome has varying degrees. many can lead a semi normal life while some are severly and profoundly retarded.

The best treatment? The best treatment would have been not being stupid enough to drink during pregnancy.
