Can a mother that was diagnosed w/ fetal alchol syndrome herself pass the genetics on to her child? |
I am 30 years old and was diagnosed early on with Fetal alcohol Syndrome. Can my baby have the same physical issues such as Epicathal folds, and low set ears? You had fetal alcohol syndrome because your mother drank when she was pregnant with you. If you aren't drinking you won't be having a child with it I would say no. It's not a mutation, it's a destruction. Shouldn't carry in the code. |
