What are some of the teenage behavioral issues faced by those with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome? From what I have observed, they have some social issues, but there is a more severe difference in their academic success. This is due to the brain damage inutero. This damage causes all kinds of repercussions. Many classes are now designed to be cooperative and when they have the lack of being able to stay within social norms they are shunned, which leads to lower grades. The couple of students that I have worked with seemed almost autistic to me. |
