Chlamydia and Fertility? |
I know that chlamydia affects fertility and i had it for about 5 months when i was 16. Does anyone know about how long it takes to overcome your reproductive system as to make you infertile. My boyfriend and I have been trying for 8 months to get pregnant and no luck. He also smokes marijuana religiously, and we have sex about twice a day. We also both have herpes, but i know that doesn't affect fertility. I don't have PID. Chlamydia - has long term effects on females if left untreated for a period of time. It effects the repro system of the female and long term effects on fertility. Maybe you need to contact a repro specialist. Herpes and Chlamydia can have effects on fetal in utero, like pneumonia, pink eye during birth and fetal development in utero (from Herpes) as stated by Mayoclinic.com and CDC. Good luck :O) impossible to predict for one individual. if you have PID, much much higher chance that tubes are damaged. after you have been trying for one year you can go to a fertility specialist. should only have sex EVERY OTHER DAY when trying to conceive and no masturbation for him in between. makes more sperm available at each try. use the ovulation kits to tell you when to try. the marijuana could also be a problem for his sperm |
