How long after fertility treatment should we wait before trying to conceive?

My husband and I have just started our first set of fertility treatments. I am taking 100mg of Clomid days 5-9 of my period. What i need to know, is how many days after taking the clomid am i most fertile? I never have a regular period, so it's kinda hard to count my cycle days....any help on this is very greatly appreciated!!! We've been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and are just now starting fertility, so we kinda want this to happen asap!!

yes i have polycistic ovarian syndrome...i'm taking metformin to help control that and another drug to get my period started, i take it for 10 days, then i take the clomid on days 5-9 of my period.

Have sex every (or every other) day from cycle day 8 through at least cycle day 20. Sperm live between 48 and 72 hours, so get a fresh supply at least every other day.

Good luck! Clomid was brutal, the mood swings were awful!

CALL YOUR DOCTOR

ask your doctor but i want to know? do u have polycystic sindrome? I suffer from that and i can't get pregnant.

I want to know who is your doctor, Thank you.
