I had it undiagnosed for several years until I got an abcess on one of my ovaries, I was told one tube was completely useless and the other was scarred so I was unlikely to conceive again. are you serious?? many many women around the world are infertile due to pelvic infections they never knew they had. chlamydia is well known for this. i dont remember the statistics but something like 15-20% of women will be infertile after a pid episode. Infertility and serility are both effects of PID |
