Laser surgery for farsightedness? |
im thinking about getting lasik surgrey and i wanted to know from people that had the surgrey and are farsighted......i have really high power +10.....i have talk to my optomitrist he doesnt suggest i get it done i was just wondering about other peoples expierences thank you much Hey lala the surgery is very expensive and there is 1 in a 1000 chances for working it outfor you....you will loose your vision permanently..... under 50 yes go for it... over 50 you'll have it done again in 5 years i have been told. |

The axis number just tell a location of your astigmatism...like a compass...it will ... I have the same problem as you. I was wear toric lenses, but I found my vision wasn't as sharp as I'd like. I asked the doctor to put me back on gas permeable lenses. It corrects the asti... If you can get high index, go for it. In my case, it reduces the thickness of the lenses in my glasses so it looks like I'm wearing regular glasses, not strong ones. I like that. They are ligh... Check with your ophthalmologist/optometrist. There are so many advances being made in medicine, that what may work today, may be out of date, tomorrow. The eyes are not something you should be ...
