Can anyone tell me the best way to stop my false teeth falling out?

I was having tea with the local vicar the other day. I took a bite of my cucumber sandwich ( cut into triangles with the crust cut off) and my teeth fell out. Oh! The shame i did'nt know where to look. Please help

It's those sharp triangles on those cucumber sandwiches! They'll get you every time. Don't ya know that Polident has that gasket grip? Head to the local drugstore first thing in the morning. Or wait until Wednesday to take advantage of the Senior Citizens' discount.

try some super glue

lol...super glue it is..............

One. Don't put then in.

Two. Keep your mouth shut.

try having them nailed to your gums

Super glue it works

yeah, Dont put them in in the first place, then they cant fall out.

use some sort of denture "glue"

keep them in your handbag

Denture grip paste- available in a supermarket.

go to your dentist a bet you will find a answer there for your specific problem!!! good luck!

suck the sarnies !!!!

eat alone not in company of the vicar, then who cares if your nashers fall out

Not so wise old granny, try super glue ;卢)

if your denture is not fitting properly you may need them relined. Over time your bone ridges shrink and your once comfortable dentures hurt or will be loose. For the time being try an adhesive like polident or fixadent. DO NOT ever put super glue in your mouth! See your dentist for a reline.

Maybe you need new dentures. Denture can loosen after a while. Go see a Dentist and get you dentures readjusted. You may need a new mold of your gums done so your dentures fit properly. You dentist could give you some solutions for you problem. Sometime dentures are hard to form to the mouth they may never fit right. I may just have to eat with out you dentures for now on. OR see your dentist.

Keep your mouth shut, or don't put them in at all.

Come on Granny. You can't be that wise if you don't know how to stop your dentures from falling out when eating.

get some new ones

Poligrip is excellent for that kind of prediciment so I'm told

Reminds me of a date I went on... As she got undressed for bed, first off came the wig, then the false teeth, closely folowed by her glass eye. As she was unscrewing her wooden leg, she asked me if I wanted sex..'Sure, just fling it over here!' I said.

I've heard that PoliGrip is good for this. Check out these web sites:

# How can I make sure that Super PoliGrip庐 holds in place during meals?
Super PoliGrip庐 should be applied 15-30 minutes before the meal.

it is a bad denture work.go to the dentist and tell to make it right

try some fixodent denture adhesive

obviously you teeth do not fit properly go to a dentist and find out why.other than that keep your mouth shut

DON'T USE SUPER GLUE! Your problem is not uncommon. You probably have had this denture for many years now. As we get older, the structure of your mouth changes, the denture doesn't. You have two options, one is having it relined. The other is having a new one made. Depending on the age of the denture and how bad the fit is will be the Doctor's determining factor as to relining or not. Make an appointment and getting your Dentist advice is the first step. Most times the reline impression can be done first thing in the morning and you can get the finished denture back that afternoon. In the meantime, try using Polygrip or one of the other denture adhesive products on the market. Good luck and I hope I've been of some help.

To those who answered with the super glue response. Shame on you for even suggesting it. This could be your parent or grandparent needing advice. Or worse yet, someone who actually would use your advice and put super glue on their denture and in their mouth. I can't even imagine the problems that this could cause not to mention the toxic effect. This type of advice could cause serious problems to someone. Please think about what you are doing here. If you can't answer the question properly, then don't answer at all.

Stick to yogurt instead

u need seabond from the chemist

glue them in,dont open ur mouth, blue tack.

keep ur head straight or back a little, not to allow gravity to be a pain.

if they fall out they dont fit see your dentist to get a new set

They obviously don`t fit correctly. Go to your dentist he may re-line them (because your bone has shrunk) or he may suggest new ones depending on how long you have had them. Don`t use super-glue, blue-tack or any similar product. Well made properly fitting teeth should not really even need any bonder.
