What causes fainting?

I was just wondering if anyone knows what can cause fainting and seizures, I have a friend who is 18 the first time she fainted was a few months ago she's only done it a few times since then. for example last night she got really quiet and spacey when i noticed this i said her name and no response she then slid down the seat of the car and started having muscle spasms and was groaning she had a tears pooring out of her eyes it lasted about 2 minutes when she woke up she was disoriented but figured out where we were she then would zone in and out for about an hour. I was just wondering if anyone knows anybody like this and could give me suggestions of what to do or what could be causing it or something. she went to the doctor and they didn't know what it was.

Your friend needs to keep accurate records of this and she needs a cat scan and probably a neurologist. Make she she isn't on some wacky diet because low blood sugar can screw you up too. Make sure she keeps track of what she eats, gets proper exercise and rest. Good Luck.
