Is fainting common with a flu-like infection?

and what causes it? i know fainting can occur when someone is recovering from a virus, but only because it's happened to people i know. i have some flu-like virus right now. basically just a throat infection accompanied by fever. my 2 sisters caught it and had it worse, they even wound up with conjunctivitis as well. i found that yesterday i kept feeling like i was about to faint. why is this?

Try drinking more fluids as you are loosing fluids with the flu.

I think it depends on with the individual. I am more prone to fainting so when i am really sick i have to watch how long i stand for and what not because i may feel faint. For me i have been like that since i was 5.
