Any intresting stories about fainting?

i am doing a first aid project about fainting and i have t tell a story about somene who has fainted, any intrestng ones?

Many years ago when I went to the Minnesota Waldorf school, many freaky things happened. My sister was in choir class and all of a sudden, like, a bunch of kids passed out. The fire department came, there was some kind of chemical airborne all over the school, making people sick.
She said their eyes rolled back in their heads. Very freaky!

i had a pain in my chest and when i went to go call my mom, i woke up on the flor and my brother comes in and says did u hear a tree fall?

While having blood drawn for testing while pregnant. I passed out. While I was out I dreamed I was being saved my a really cute lifeguard at the beach. When I woke up I was being care for by a really ugly male nurse . Dang I wished I could have stayed passed out.

once, when I was about 11, I snuck down to the rumpus room at my parents house and put the heater on and lay down for about half an hour. After my rest I got up and went to leave the room and ended up fainting in the passage way and banging on the walls as I fell and I woke everyone up!

One time, when I had pnuemonia and the flu combined, I was so dehydrated and everything got so twirly that I passed out on my bathroom floor. Fell, rather. I was so delerious my mom had to wake me up and drag me to my bed. It was the dizziest and sickest I've ever been I was about to take a shower, too. It sucked!

Ive fainted a few times, once in 3rd grade, once in 4th grade, once in 8th grade and twice this year in 10th grade. The first time was in the morning at school, i got sent home early. In fourth grade it was in school too, i remember asking my teacher if i could go to the nurse seeing a bunch of different colors and she ran over grabbed me and i fell and i remember being dragged through the hallway and i got sent home. In eighth grade it was at a family reunion thing and i remember i fainted seeing the colors and the dissiness and then woke up and having a few of my aunts and uncles and stuff making fun of me. This year my best friend john died and i was really really stressed out and i was just really really sad and i think i passed out cause of stress and the other time was when one of my girlfriends broke up with me. Fainting is never fun, from my experiences. You at first start to feel nausous at first and then you start to feel really light headed (like REALLLLY light headed). Then you get kindof dissy and it gets worse and worse and eventualy you start to see colors and cant walk or feel anymore and just pass out, usualy it doesnt last too long for me but still, it can be caused from being sick or overly stressed out or depressed or other reasons. Good luck on your first aid project.

At my last base in Germany, we had two female co-workers faint, on completely separate occasions and for no reason at all, in the bathroom and they had to be taken to the hospital. There was nothing wrong with either of them. I actually got dizzy for a little bit when I was in the bathroom, but I never fainted.

During a uniform inspection in tech school, we had one girl(One of the co-workers from the first story) faint somewhat face-first into the pavement. She scraped the side of her head and busted(Though I don't think she lost it) one of her teeth. It was probably 90+ degrees(Which is Red Flag weather) outside with insane humidity levels and we were all in BDUs with sleeves down.(This was in Mississippi)

Oh yeah, I was in ROTC in 6th grade. We had a uniform inspection outside in the 80+ degree weather(This is in Florida, so the humidity was prevalent there as well). Full service dress. I asked to leave because I was feeling dizzy and darkness was starting to creep up in my vision. The teacher made a snide remark to me, thinking I was faking, but he let me leave. I got to the outside of the school building(We were out in the parking lot) before the darkness creeped up even more; I had to stop walking and lean against the wall because my legs were starting to give out. After that, it went away and I was fine.

Lastly, I had to get the Small Pox vaccination for my deployment. They took an 18G needle, dipped it in the vaccination, and push the needle through my skin five times. After I walked out of the Immunization building, my ears started to cotton up and anything that was bathed in light seemed to glow. It went away after a minute or two. o_o

a very long time ago when i was in 4th grade i was on my way to switch to another class a second i was talking to my teacher then i felt dizzy then everything went black a few minites later i woke up then i had to go home lol

I was entertaining with some White Russians and I had a couple.Went to restroom got a real bad pain in my stomach,
I breathed to a point of Hyper ventilating,next thing I know I
came to on my bathroom floor.Strangely pain was gone and I felt euphoric. It was weird however. The pain made me pass out, because I felt like could not breath because of stomach
cramps.

This happened at the beginning of last year...

It was my first shift at my new job with a big supermarket chain...

I did all the right things: show up 10 minutes early, uniform pristine, be on time back from break etc

2 hours to go...I started to feel a bit woozy...Everything was spinning and twirling pretty colours...

I could feel myself blacking out so i tried to sit down at the end of my register, but i ended up missing the ledge! I woke up on the floor with a bump on my head and 15 concerned customers staring down at me!

Luckily I got to keep my job! But i have never lived it down!

Yes when I was in high school, they had blood drives, and came to the schools gym and set up etc... I went and donated, it was easy, very fast, nothing to it at all. Then the highschool football team all came in all macho etc... Everything went fine, until it came time for the needle to be inserted, that's when half the football team either turned green, or fainted. It was quite funny really, watching these jocks, faint dead away. Hope you enjoyed this story, take care,

  • Please help me. How can i avoid fainting whilst, having a blood test? very squeamish with blood and needles.?

A nurse told me that one reason people faint during blood work is that they hold their breath when the nurse is sticking the needle in and getting the blood. So Remember to breathe!
