Weird health problem: near fainting? |
for a few years now i've gotten like these almost fainting spells. randomly, i'll become faint and need to go to the bathroom. i'll break out in a cold sweat, feel nausea and lightheaded, my vision will get clouded and i'll need to lay down and let it pass. sometimes i'll have diarrhea or will throw up. at most, these symptoms will continue for about 10 min. and once they pass, it was like it never happened. sometimes it will happen during my period, but not always. could be low sugar . . . next times you feel this way have a glass of orange juice or a cookie and see if it helps. That would explain the fainting feeling. This is because of low blood pressure. Ask your doctor about it. I know what you mean-- I experience it too. You are not eating enough. What you are describing is known as hypoglycemia. Eat a well balanced diet and drink enough water. Your body will not work unless it has fuel. You are sparing it fuel. Eat according to the food pyramid and exercise. You will be fit and healthy. I'm not an expert, but it could be something to do with iron deficiency. The next time you go to your doctor, ask them (if they haven't already) to do an iron blood test and a full blood test which will test for other possible causes too. Wow!! U got ALOT of different answers- all of which COULD BE potential causes 4 ur symptoms. Personally, I've experienced the EXACT SAME THINGS- and was diagnosed w/ anxiety disorder. My sister also has it. It's VERY scary, embarassing and uncomfortable. Try 2 keep a record of these episodes- the date, time, symptoms, duration, etc. It may give u a better chance of being properly diagnosed. I wish u well, and I can truly sympathize w/ u. Good Luck!! :) |
