My son has crashed 3 times causing leg and facial injuries since? |
stopping smoking 2 months ago, could there be a connection? May be...but for christ sakes he sounds like he should not be driving. He is obviously doing something really stupid could be extreme withdrawal symptoms affecting the brain and therefore, causing trouble while driving... Nicotine helps people relax and concentrate so he might be missing it but it is more likely that he is just a crap driver. Although smoking is condemned, it is a known fact that is creates a calming effect. Maybe he is a bit stressed which is the link that is causing the problem. i have to agree i quit smoking and i wreaked more before i quit, only wreaked twice since then in 15 years and once wasnt my fault :) the other was only at 5Mph thank god I do not believe that the withdrawal from nicotine would cause these crashes, it is probably more like he just isn't paying as close attention as he should be. I quit smoking after 30 plus years, and I didn't have any accidents. He needs a refresher course in driving. He obviously has a lack of concentration. Take his car keys off him before he kills someone. |
