Seizures in my sleep and what can I do?

I was struck as a pedestrian by a car going 60mph in a 25mph street who lost control going up a hill turning a corner and hit me. I was thrown in the air into a tree, then landed on a metal bench surrounded by huge boulder-like rocks. I had head injury, broken bones and facial wounds, and injured legs.
After about 2 months after the accident i had migraines and people said i had seizures once a month if that in my sleep. I also have a memory disorder as well from the accident. But the seizures thing has gotten worse to like nightly seizures, weird body feelings in my face (tingly) and weird headaches then seizures. I am scared as hell and very suicidal. I am scared of this seizure thing and lost my drivers liscenes and job too. Someone please advise? i am in Michigan and i could use an attorney as well?

i'm sorry about your accident. Night seizures are very common, i have them all the time as well. the tingling in your face could be from your medication or its just one of the side affects to your seizures. Having seizures is very scary, i had a seizure 24feet up on a ladder and fractured 2 of my vertabrae which still haven't healed properly. I also know about the suicidal feelings, you feel damaged and like god cursed you with an uncurable disorder and you wonder why he picked you. i have never been able to get a job due to my seizures and i have never been able to obtain a license. It gets better over time, things always get worse before they get better.
you should find out if there is an epilepsy support group near you, also have you looked into what the triggers are for your seizures, the most common are, lack of sleep, stress, heat, light, to much alcohol etc... as soon as you can narrow that down you can avoid the things that trigger the seizures, you also need to be on the right medication. I don't live in Michigan, i live in Canada so i can't advise you of which attorney to speak to but most attorneys will do this kind of case probono. The state should be helping you in this area, maybe talking to the DA might help you.
Good Luck!

The first thing to do is find a lawyer. It sounds like you have claim to some serious money for the loss of your drivers license, job and most seriously, your health.

see a neurologist.
