Puberty problem.?

hello. i am a 17 yr old male, perfectly normal birth, with no history of disorders etc. My facial hair seems to be odd. I have developed hair on the chin ,and massive sideburns with form a chinstrap, but no hair on the upper and lower lip. Wat could cause this.

both sides of my family all have even think facial hair.

please help

The simple answer is genetics. My Dad had a full beard but my uncle (his brother) can't grow hair to any extent on the sides of his face, so he wears a goatee. Now both of them have mustaches that come in full while mine is full but not as thinck as theirs??? So at 17 I don't think you are going to be getting a mustache anytime soon. Give nature a chance to finish with puberty but I think maybe an amish beard is what your going to grow??
I really don't know how you can change it, maybe rogaine on your lip?

its due to lack of androgen in your body and some genetic problem bt u will get hairs at the age of20 or 21.
