Can your hair colour really change permanently while you grow up?

My hair's been turning more and more brownish for some reason which I am not even able to hypothesize about.... Its most probably natural - but I have had jet black hair for all my life till now and all of a sudden its changing (along with my skin coloration)

I was kind of really happy with my darkish "Indian-Iranian" features all my life and the new facial changes in me are actually bugging me! I cant even go under the sun for I start having all kinds of skin disorders (so its not a solution).....and be assured that I do not have any dietary deficiencies for such problems....

Just let nature do its thing and see what you get. After all; you may like the new you just as well or maybe even better. I'm sure it will take some getting used to.
You don't say how old you are.
You could see your doctor and see what he says about it. He may find it amazing.
Good luck.

Skin and hair appearance changes over time.Your body completely rebuilds its elf on a cellular level every 7yrs. It is possibly for hair color and skin to change with no reason. However i would see someone about the sun related skin disorders.

omg . thats` how my hair is too for some reason . i use to have black hair , now i`m an azn brunette for some reason . i stand out from all the other people . but i don`t really think it could change back . i had my brown hair ever since 4th grade && i`m like older now anyways . .

'Fraid so!

And, to be honest, you might just as well get used to it, because there is no doubt that it will happen yet again!

Unfortunately, our hair follicles and our skins age as we do, and although I would be amazed if your hair became too much lighter than it previously was, the time will come when you find a first completely white hair!

Take comfort in the fact that - with the enormous range of excellent cosmetic products available today - your hair can be returned to the color of your choice for as long as you desire it to be so!

of course!while you grow up the colour of your hair or skin or even the colour of your eyes may going to be darker or lighter.

This is normal. It is very common for your hair to darken or lighten as you age. Nothing to worry about. However, since the skin pigmentation is also changing, it wouldn't hurt to see a doctor in case you have an endocrine issue.

Yep...

I was a blond when I was little... now I'm dark brown!

I also had hazel colored eyes... now its brown... not too dark n not light... just in between...

BUT my skin is still the same... cz I can't possibly get any whiter! :D n I don't go under the sun that much so it wouldn't get darker... lol...

yes!!! You see when I was about 2-4 years old, I had brown/blonde hair. I started growing up and started to get very very dark brown hair. but I now have the same color as i did when i was 2-4 years old! Weird, I know. I also had very dark brown eyes, and now i have light brown eyes... my skin color is peach and it was a little darker before.

The sun can also lighten it, depending on how much time you spend in the sun...

Salam:-)
Yes,it change:
When I was little I had blond hair & dark green eyes,
When I was 6 years old my eyes & my hair were black,
Now my eyes are dark brown & my hair is light brown & I have white(& a little red)skin!
So I don`t know what`s my hair & my eyes color in the future???
