Can marijuana cause anxiety problems? |
I used to smoke marijuana and now i think i have some type of anxiety disorder to a small degree. The first time i smoked mj i had a real bad panic attack and thought everything was "repeating itself". I'd get out of my shower and i'd get back in then get out and get back in lol.I was so high that day but after that it seems like i've had social axiety problems and some panic attacks since then. The panic attacks are getting less frequent and not nearly as bad as it has been 7 months since i smoked. marijuana like any other drug affects different people different ways.. they call it paranoia when someone smokes out.. but not everyone gets this.. some folks get sick, some get hungry, some get paranoid or worse.. i've NEVER had hallucinations, it's all in your own body's chemical makeup. The marijuama may have magnified the problem but I think at root you have a bit of social anxiety disorder. I have it as well and I haven't smoked for 7 years, and had it before I began smoking pot. who cares drugs are for dumb shits mary j is a mild hallucinate, but it should be out of you system by now. some people are allergic or sensitive to it, but after as long ago as your talking about, you may want to talk to a Dr. I don't pretend to KNOW, but it seems logical that something that relaxes your mind that much, would have a "hangover effect". NO it causes addiction. Marijuana causes paranoid thoughts.. And it is illegal, which causes more paranoid thoughts. It can definitely cause anxiety probs. I suffer from social anxiety & i smoked that $hit for a few or more years. it definitley made me more anxious |
