Pink eye/eye infection...can I wear my contact lenses now? |
Its been about 5 days since I got my meds and its all cleared up pretty much and my eye feelsand looks fine..can I wear my contact lenses 2day tho? My doctor said you don't get it again usually afterwards If the infection is cleared up then i would say yes. But make sure you use new lenses, if you got the pick eye ehile wearing the same contacts it would cause it to come back. I would double check with the doctor first if your not sure. Just give him a call and ask. Your best bet is to thouroughly clean your contact lenses very well before putting them in. Soak them in a peroxide cleaner overnight, rinse well with saline before placing them into your eyes. |
