I had pink eye, when can I wear contacts again?

My eye turned all red sunday night, I went to the doctors on monday and was given some anti- biotic drops. I never really experienced itching, or light sensitivity, so I guess I caught the pink eye early :). The redness went away in two days, but I've still been wearing my glasses.

I'm going to a party saturday night, and I'd love to wear my contacts. I've been wearing glasses for about 5 days now, and my eye seems clear and symptom free, can I wear my contacts?

continue on the antibiotic till the day of the party then wear contacts and go , make sure they are clean before and after wearing them .

Yeah, just don't wear them for too long. And soak them with fresh solution before you wear them.

You can wear contacts again when your pink eye is clear. Just make sure you put in a fresh pair or you will get the infection again.

4 to 6 weeks after the infection and get new contacts or your get it again

be sure to clean the first and again when you take them out you should be fine. Continue to use your medication.
