While I am doing eye exercises, should I wear my contact lenses or remove them before doing?

I am a 24 year old girl and my power is -4.75.I am wearing contact lenses now. I am really keen on reducing my power, please suggest some websites which explains more about what eye exercises are best for me.

Eye exercises, where you look at the tip of an object and move it in and out and left and right and up and down and over and over....don't do ANYTHING to help, or hinder your refractive power of your eye. No matter how many situps you do, your stomach (the organ) isn't going to digest food any faster, or slower. It just does it the way it's supposed to...

Your eyes are already so strong, as far as bending light, that you are already focused at 1/4 - of a meter in front of you.

a -1.00 is focused at a meter
a -2.00 is focused at half a meter
a -3.00 is focused at a third of a meter
a -4.00, a fourth of a meter
-5.00, fifth of a meter.

So exercises if they were to work to make the muscles stronger would make it so your lens system got ever MORE powerful and you'd focus even CLOSER to your face and you'd need even a stronger minus lens to weaken that lens system to 'normal'.

At 24 though, assuming you've no other ocular pathology, and your myopia is 'stable', the corneal implant surgery would be a good way to go. It places a very thin lens within the substance of the cornea which flattens the cornea some, enough to make it so your focal distance is moved OUT to optical infinity.

The other ways are the LASIK or LASEK...and some people just get their 'cataracts' done and the implant placed is measured according to the axial length of the eye. This makes it so that the eye is focused at distance already. Some of the new lenses are bendable so some can actually see distance, then focus close and the lens will move and refocuse the eye to 'close'.

If you talk to a refractive surgeon...the way to go is refractive surgery. If you talk to a general ophthalmologist, the corneal implant may be his recommendation (this seems preferable as this one doesn't 'remove' any tissue or damage any tissues).

But the eye exercises is more for people with a neurological problem or a weak muscle to the eye problem. or someone that has fixation difficulties. That's not you.

all true/real vision therapy (not bates method) should be done "corrected". in other words, wearing glasses or contacts.
