Why does my left eye itch when I wear my contacts? |
I've been wearing contacts for a few months now, and for the first few weeks things were fine...then i started getting this itch in my left eye and I had to take out my lenses. It's gotten worse, and when I wake up in the morning my left eye is covered in discharge...sometimes milky but now mostly dry. It doesn't happen to my right eye at all though. I've been to my optician and the first time it was a simple remove the lens and see, the next it was due to the increase in magnification which made me keep my eyes open more, leaving them to dry up....What can I do? are you wearing RGP lenses or soft lenses, if you're wearing RGP lenses it is because those lenses are just plain uncomfortable (they are made of hard plastic) and they might have been cut wrong and are not fitting in your eye properly. |
