Will I improve my eye sight if I don't wear my glasses as often? Or, will I just make it worse? |
My eye sight seems to be better when I first wake up in the morning. I mean, it still isn't good or else I wouldn't need my glasses at all. But, after wearing them all day, when I take them off my eye sight seems to be worse than it was that morning. I've went all day without my glasses, and my sight wasn't the best, but it wasn't like it is when I take my glasses off after wearing them for a while. Well, my eyes aren't terribly bad. I can still make out things, they are just a little blurry. And, it is only far away things.....I can see up close perfectly. you will make your eye sight worse. when you don't wear them they have to strain harder to see things, which makes it worse. the reason you can't see that well after you take them off is because your eyes haven't adjusted to the change. you need to wear them. try contacts if you don't like your glasses. I know Im wondering the same thing! Thanks for asking.lol. its because after you take off your glasses, your vision seems more blurred because you are used to seeing more clearly. if you go a day without your glasses your eyesight will seem well because you haven't put on your glasses so your eyes are used to the blur. I'm pretty sure that your eye sight is what it is. Glasses can help improve the quality/clarity of your vision if you need them. Not wearing glasses probably isn't going to help you, though I doubt it could do much harm either unless your vision is very poor without them. I'm told that one's vision tends to change a bit over time anyway, so its possible that your glasses are not the right perscription strength for your eyes at the moment. You might want to get them checked out just to be sure if you haven't done so in a while. glasses make your eyes lazy, and actually makes vision worse. Every time I would go to the eyedoctor I would get a new prescription (for stronger glasses...). Looking close up at stuff (computer screens, ex) makes them go bad too. Exercise your eyes by looking at stuff far away, then look at something really close up. take off your glasses every now and then other then when u r sleeping or showering. like when u r not reading a lot or on the computer, take it off. that's what i do, cause sometimes when u have ur glasses on for too long, it won't do u any good either. |
