Can I wear my right contact on my left eye?

Recently I have noticed that my vision is getting worse. It is especially annoying when I am driving or at school. I seem to be getting headaches all the time and it is driving me crazy. The persciption for my right eye is stronger than the one for my right eye so I was wondering if I could wear the stronger ones in both of my eyes until I can go to the eye doctor. All the numbers except the power are the same and it is only .25 of a difference between the eyes so would this be a problem? I know I have to go to the eye doctor but I wont have time for a few weeks so is this alright? Thanks!

I'm sure that it won't reaaaalllly hurt anything, but if you're going to use a fresh contact, not a used one.
Your aren't supposed to swap eyes in case one eye has a transferrable infection.

You could try it, but only wear contacts when you have to, at least until you see a doctor.

The other thing to consider is that your lenses may have different curvature, based on your eyes being slightly different... your right lens may not match your left eye. If you have disposables, check the box they came in, it should list the curvature.

no you better not because you don't know whats going on with your eyes.get your eyes re-checked. you might have to get stronger contacts or glasses.that might help your headaches out to. be on the safe side check with your doctor first.

My curvature is the same for both of my eyes and I did this for a short while because I was in a similar situation. Turns out my vision was different and I was given a completely different prescription for both of my eyes, but no damage was done by my "self-care". Just make sure you get in ASAP!
